We've enjoyed these biannual street fairs for years - much interrupted by covid of course.
(Yellow Springs was first in Ohio to mandate mask wearing)
Pre-covid, in decent weather - up to 10,000 flocked into the village for this one-day street fair.
Collected daughter from her night shift at the hosp and ...31°F as she drove us into town at 7:45AM. Parking not the issue for those who know the streets here!
The old village jailhouse. Now a B&B....5 min walk from town center.
Straight to Dino's for coffee. (his shop is village center - had all hands on deck for the crowds all day)
and later......
At 9:30 it was still pretty chilly. Light crowds.
One man did this brick-work years ago. At one time it was a restaurant...you could eat lunch in the lower grotto out back.
Good eats.....
I asked Santa for a "NOS Forza"!
It was warming and the crowds were rolling down Rt 68 into town.....time to bug out!
oh yeah....that lonely SYM. Heavy shape....looks industrial to my eye.....
"Soviet?"It warmed up nicely by noon. Dino will be a tired - but happy man by end of day!
