KEYS ~ you have spares?

I always get spares of our motorcycles and scooters (and vehicles if not $$$!)
By "spares" - I mean a 3rd key, not a 2nd!
Over the years I've found spare keys for my Kymco, Honda Forza, Suzuki Burgman (& Chevy truck) on eBay for a few dollars.
Pretty simple to match my key with the photos of the blank sold by the seller....then I purchase. Local hardware store cuts them for $2....or free.

Yeah - the keys are probably Chinese made - but even the weird Burgman keys with the three magnets in it worked.
I did have to use AF1-Racing in TX to order my spare programmable spare for my Liberty.
This key was about $30 and you can program it to your scooter using the brown mother key. (there are youtubes on this procedure)
 Apparently you do NOT want to lose all the Piaggio keys - as you could buy a nice Ohio beater (automobile) for the cost of replacing your electrical bits and keys!

anyway - how is your spare situation?

I have spares for my top cases as well

PPS: that 3rd key for the LIKE200iLX is squirreled away in hiding on my scooter...or in my shorts. I'm not say'in....

Yes I have original and spare for both my bikes and their top boxes. A third? Meh.

Spare for Ninja and Helix, but not a working one for S200. I have one, a factory one, but it doesn’t work….for some strange reason.

I have 3 for my Silverado, 2 with fobs that can lock & unlock the doors, and shut the alarm off.
3 for my Tacoma, but 1 is a "convenance" key' that can only unlock the doors and glove box, will not start the truck
2 for my V-strom
2 for my UXV 450i
2 fobs for my AK550
1 key for my K-Pipe, thanks for reminding me

I have all my door locks for my house keyed to the same key, and same with my office/barn

Compare those 2 Kymco keys....maybe you can spot the problem with the spare ...a little work with a file? You certainly might find a correct blank on eBay and have it cut.

I only have the one plus spare for all my vehicles. Haven't yet needed more than that. I really don't want to consider an "extra" spare for my AK 550. That costs more than is worth paying attention to what I do with the 2 fobs I have.

it's odd, I hold them up side by side and they look identical...absolutely identical, no difference at all...but only 1 works.
