Advice on engine

I am wondering whether this can be right or not? Is there a passage between the crankhousing and the insert hole for oil pump? When I overflood the crankhousing with petrol, the hole for the oil pump get flooded as well... is that normal?

Should be normal (as far as I know), it has a O-ring to keep it close from leaking.
