NSR: who knew? Equinox won't fit
« on: November 17, 2022, 11:00:54 PM »
Spent 5 hrs rearranging the garage after discovering that this Chevy is 15" longer than the Scion xB.
It is also @900lbs heavier.....which probably accounts for the somewhat smoother ride.
Nevertheless.....it is a Mexican* torture to get into ....with the sloped windscreen pillar! Even worse than the Japanese made Scion...and, with it having been assembled in Hiroshima -- they may have had a bone to pick with us Gringos🙃
I guess John Wayne did take TX away from our southern neighbors.....so..

*I believe the Equinox is made in MX.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Possibly might be the Canadians getting some of their own back too.

Hilarious! Obviously you're not a builder, or you would have take a tape-measure with you when car shopping! And it's not the first time I've heard of this! From personal experience, by careful shopping, FWIW, it's possible to fit two 4-door cars, two  Kymcos and a lawn-mower in a normal garage with room to spare :-)
