this morning....no worries.

But his evening.

I crash and burn in the theater while watching Avatar II after a nice dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory!
Got up to let my wife out during this multi-hour movie.
Stepped back in the isle to make room for her, trip in the dark over the step behind me.
I'm OK - but the passenger side* of my butt is sore, my head has a lump on it and my pride took a beating as I fell full onto my back in the isle of the crowded theater.

Thank the heavens I no longer had the giant bucket of popcorn in my hands!

Points to my daughter for not laughing at her pop for doing stunts in the isle.

See what happens when you don't go ATGATT!

Liked my daughter's choice of grilled steak medallions, shiitake mushrooms and asparagus in red wine.

Whoops Stig, guess a lot of us are at that age now!  Glad it was mainly your pride that was hurt, though it sound like a bit of saddle squirming is on the cards for a few days?
Regards & ride safe,
Neil

The morning after:
Wrist is sore - thankfully nothing more than sore.
Rump really sore...but the good is....my 'nurse' is applying healing ointment to the area🙃😘

Bump on my head is on the top - strangely.

The movie 🎬??
We might be the only 3 who never saw the first Avatar, until just 3 weeks ago whrn we checked it out of the library!

Avatar II....? I'm not a big fan of action movies so perhaps not the best judge. Always found Worthington to be unimpressive. Maybe it's just his voice...I find off-putting?
It is clearly set up for Avatar III.

Colorful!! movie. You must be OK with bows and arrows defeating armor and cannons. I liked the whale!!

One point. The darn volume in the theater was painful!!!!
Even before the feature started I made ear plugs from napkins in my jacket pocket. Wife gladly accepted some, too.

I really like the photos with “moving” traffic. The still items, i.e., scooter, look so much sharper in contrast.

I too have had an issue with tripping on stairs. Solved my problem by moving to a ranch house. Soaking in the tub eased the pain and was the only time I enjoyed a bath. Some spousal nursing can also help.

She had the same dish last year. Afterwards - she said it was the best dinner she's ever had.
