So I went to fuel up today as my gas gauge was on empty. filled up and noticed that I needed a full gallon of gas to fill the tank up whitch is unusual because I generally fill up with a little gas left in the tank. Went to check the oil and as soon as I unscrewed the dipstick an oil and gas mixture shot out and started leaking all over the floor of the gas station. I could tell it was gas because it left a " sheen" on the parking lot. As soon as I got home I did an oil change and inspected the carb.
So I may have an Idea on why my crankcase was filled with gas and oil; I think my float in the carberator might be stuck causing oil to overflow into the crancase. I dont know if this is the issue but I suspect this. In the past I have never had this happen in the 8,000KM that I have owned my kymco. what other reason could cause this issue besides the Carb Float? I wounder if the recent cold weather had anything to do with it.
