I have a Bulldog disk lock but I don't use it all the time. Mostly I just set the parking brake and even sometimes lock the handlebars all the way over to the steering lock position. I find that no one knows how this bike is enabled to move unless they own one and it's just heavy enough to need an entire crew to steal it. Of course if the entire crew did come along no lock will prevent the bike from being taken anyway. I also find that here in the USA most who don't already like scooters will choose to pass it by and go after the Harley parked in the handicap parking hash marked area. Had that very thing happen at work with my Burgman 650. My bike and a Harley were parked at mc parking at work and someone tried to steal the HD. Didn't touch my Burgman.
That motorcycle lock you linked to is the second one I've seen that actually permanently mounts on the bike frame or fork. But those all are about the same effectiveness as a disk lock. I have a bright lanyard on mine that loops on one of the grips so I don't forget it's there. It really damages the self esteem when you try to ride away and the lock, either kind, hits the stop and the bike gets dumped. DAMHIK. Might even scratch some part on the bike also.
