Kymco 2022 People 150 Battery Access
« on: January 24, 2023, 03:09:06 AM »
Can anyone advise how to open the cowling in front of the 2022 People 150 to access the battery. I need to attach a trickle charger lead through to the small front glovebox. Have undone the two screws but the manual indicates there is a plastic clip that I can’t locate. My local dealers are none the wiser. Cheers John

@johnl1au, welcome here!
Look a little bit further down under your front fairing and you will find and see black plastic reviets, push the middle bolt about 5mm imside then take the whole piece out.
Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus

Yes, Welcome  John!
Thanks Ruffus...don't think many of us own that scooter.
A bit surprised that the owner's manual hasn't instructions for accessing the battery!?

https://kymco.at/pub/media/Download/Kymco/WHBNEWPeopleS125.pdf  Under the Kymco 500 section, there is a link to manuals from Kymco. If you look through the entire list, near the end the list of manuals. A manual titled for the new People S 125 is listed and when opened it covers the 125/150 People S 150.

Thankyou for your assistance on this and the Workshop Manual in particular. The Owners Manual that came with the scooter for the Aussie market anyway is very scanty. Cheers John 👍👍🛵🛵🛵
