2005 kymco people 50cc fuel line
« on: January 10, 2023, 07:04:33 PM »
Fuel line from tank to petcock has torn and I need to replace it, i can’t find any post on the forum about it noting I didn’t look super hard.
I had cut it shorter making it kindof kinked and I think it’s affecting my gas flow enough to keep the scooter from starting
Looking for that and and the size hose  from the petcock to carburetor, the scooter has a phbg 19mm dellorto carb on it to my knowledge, any info or tips are welcome
I know the hose currently on petcock to carb is a 1/8 hose and it seems kindof small

Thank you

Can you take samples to auto parts store and  purchase replacement? (NAPA)
Purchase from Kymco parts might take awhile....and would likely not be fresh.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Your 50cc engine is also small to match! 1/8" (3mm in scooter language) is plenty big enough.  You can find fuel hose at auto supply stores.
