His website mentions that his "pencil" is responsible for the design of 17 Kymco scooters over the years - "with 8 of them in the current fleet."

I think his first Kymco may have been the sleek little PEOPLE (@1997)...."a big wheel design with many ovals in the design."



I do not think that there has been a single change in the LIKE since its inception in 2009, other than badging and paint colors.

Massimo is also responsible for the 550.

I doubt if this Italian is responsible for the many goofy scooter names used by Kymco!

Style is one thing, but the putting it into production and making it reasonable to repair are very important. Having to remove an engine to replace a spark plug is just not acceptable. Kymco does good for this in many ways.

The I need to take him to task about a) the lack of a front mudguard (fender) and b) the missing ambient temperature gauge lol

No, he just pencils the shape on a pizza box.
The boys with all the Legos put the rest of it together in Taiwan.
I've heard that Japanese exec's love Johnny Walker/Black....always wondered what Kymco's scooter Naming Committee was drinking there in Taiwan?.....
