all kinds of clientele....
« on: May 27, 2023, 08:08:03 PM »
Joe premiered his Gator-Mobile* at the coffee shop this morning.... (painted by local elem. school kids)

and was joined shortly by a Porsche and a very nice Chevelle!

*I'm losing track - he has about 7 of these kid-painted Toyota wagons. And a nice burgundy (unpainted) one that has over 350,000 miles on it.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Chevy Chevelle....there are car shows all over the area for this holiday. Over the past 2 days saw a bunch of them going through the village - driven and trailered.
The Chevelle driver came out of Dino's and lit the tires up leaving town! LOUD at 7AM!
I waited for the Porsche pilot to do something as well. But he just made a noise like folded money.... leaving.

I was taking this pic, and some old guy hollered out his car window, "you like that old Chevelle?"
I'll bow, now, to your knowledge of Chevies, I'm a VW guy.

that's OK, I can't identify any old VW's!  The giveaway on this car was the shape of the C pillar. It is wider up top and tapers toward the bottom. That and the rear wheel well shape and how it sweeps back on the Chevy II. Kind of foreshadowed the 69 Camaro restyle.
pics below of Chevy II and Malibu.
