2023 AK 550 Premium Top Case Rack

Hello all!  I just purchased a 2023 AK 550 Premium and would like to put a top case on it. I really like the Shad SH 58 X but on Shad’s website it says the mountain rack doesn’t work with the premium model.  What’s different about that area on the premium?  A rack isn’t available from Kymco until December according to my dealer. Any suggestions on racks I could use and where to get one would be appreciated. TIA!

The mounting points for the passenger handles were changed slightly for the Premium model from the Standard model. The passenger handle design is very different as well. I have no ideas what solution there would be for adding a mount for a case until Shad or Givi or someone else comes out with one.

I put Givi system ( rail n top box) . I think Givi made a nicer look rail then Shad.

Are you in the USA or Europe or
The Premium model is not (yet) in the USA. We get only the Euro 4 Standard version in the USA. Mostly unchanged from when it first came across the pond in 2021... though slightly upgraded from when the AK was first introduced in 2017 in other countries.

I have a Givi aluminum mounting plate with the Givi adapter rack on my 2022 Standard version. Though I am going without a top case for now since dry bags are all I need at this time.
