Error 37
« on: July 17, 2024, 07:24:08 AM »
hello, I have bought a 2011 downtown 300 and the check engine light is on, it flashes Error 37, I have checked the coil it appears to test ok, the bike appears to run normally. I tried to clear the error but it is still there. has anyone come across this before.

thanks

Tested like this? Screenshot from the service manual. If it's truly faulty the bike won't run.

Might be easier just to replace the whole ignition coil.

Mouse yes, if you "get" the coil in time to measure. This items have the bad habit to fail when heated up and look innocent again until you have it freed from plastic and your tools ready.
Of course on suspicion you heat it up with a heat hun.
