It’s that time of year Stig. I’ve been watching East Yorkshire farmers burning the midnight oil to harvest wheat before the current dry spell ends - forecast for later this week. Lots of areas in the UK have had cereal crops flattened and damaged by prolonged wet weather.
It’s an ill wind though, I heard a news report that those very same weather conditions mean the increasing number of English vineyards are expecting a bumper crop!
