So, you mentioned 2 weeks ago you were getting the disc replaced.
Did you, is the noise gone?

No, I still have not replaced the disc.....it was delivered but not installed....yet....I now have a fork seal issue and it seems you have to take just about everything on the front end off to work on the forks. all the plastic, screen/monitor/gauge cluster, everything and man am I dreading that. Cyclepedia shows you how to do it but I hate tearing into things and then having trouble getting all back together perfectly. No idea how to know how much fork lube has been lost or leaked out but it's a good bit.

I had a slight fork oil seepage on mine. Had that on my Burgman and CTX1300 and ST1100 too. Fixed all of them without removing any plastic or any fork tube. Used a tool called a Seal-Mate cleaning tool. Pulled down the dust seal around the fork and then worked the Seal-Mate up under the oil seal and swiped all the way around the fork tube to pull out any grit that does get into the seal. Pushed the dust seal back in place and problem solved! I used the official Seal-Mate tool the first time and then made my own for a few other times that I needed it.

Most leaks are due to grit that gets between the seal and fork tube. If you haven't lost too much oil the Seal-Mate is the way to go. You should be able to tell by how much fork oil has dribbled down onto the brakes. If there is any oil on the brakes you'll need to replace the pads. If there is a lot you'll need to replentish the oil and that does require disassembly.
