Hi !
Today I spent some time trying to figure out if you can change odometer readout in Kymco Downtown. I found a forum where many Kymco scooters were given odometer rollback. Getting odometer value change it is not so easy as you need direct access to chip having odometer miles/kms stored but once you get there is easy sailing. Have a look, somebody rolled odometer from 101 853 km to 27 000 km

Also 2014 People 300GT, from 68 036 km down to 23 000 km

Scooters do not generally age well.
A look at the plastics and visible mechanicals would be pretty good 'tell'.
By the time most Americans ran a scooter 40>50K miles, it would look like rolling trash.
Akin to rolling back a toaster. Who'd care?
IMHO
