I never stop here without a look over my shoulder~!
« on: March 26, 2024, 12:53:53 PM »

Took a pic along here a couple years ago when a big guy in a Wife-Beater with a couple of pits emerged out of the darkness behind me. He was from a farm back down the road.
"Whatcha dooon?"

'Taking a photo of the moon.'

He grunted, took another bite of bacon, and went back to his breakfast.

I think of my buddy every time I stop along this road.

What an endearing welcome!

Always a bit of a shock when one is out in the dark miles from anywhere! Even more so in the gun toting US I’d guess?
Regards & ride safe,

Well he did have a couple pits with him. A Glock is standard equipment for pit bull owners. And vice versa.
But, no - I'm sure I impressed him...guy riding a scooter, "taking pictures of the moon" ??!
