Hey everyone (new user here) trying to learn about scooter maintenance.

What I have done so far to try and fix the problem.

1. I have flushed out the carb and the jet with Carbi cleaner.

2. Checked the fuel filter and fuel lines.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be. I do not know alot of parts on the bike so as simple as you can write it please.

Thankyou

Welcome bendyman..
The going uphill part is from your main spring or the roller weight.. If you use a 1000 main spring, slap in some 5g rollers, that will help you going uphill....
How many miles?
check belt?
maintenance will include adjusting valves on the ag too
you need to post some symtoms of your scoot.. only on hills does it do this,etc.....

alas, your problem will still exist.

I put in a big bor kit on my a50 and the best I could hope for was not dropping below 35mph indicated.

The a50s strenght is not engine size.
Im usually on a bicycle, so for me, this thing is hauling ass!

rember the a 50 has the frame work of a 125 with just a 50 motor put in it so you are pushing some extra weight around too. if your motor was in a smaller scoot you would gain 5 to 10 miles ahour maybe.
I have a nst with the same motor and it goes about 45 to 50 easy with going up hills at 40. sorry to tell you this but there is only so much you can do.
