S100 Total Cycle Cleaner
« on: June 13, 2024, 09:44:58 PM »
Does anyone have any experience with S100 Total Cycle Cleaner? I've been watching You Tube videos, and there seems to be mixed opinions about it. I would use it mainly to clean the spoked wheels on my People. Is it worth trying?

Have used it for years on 4 scooters and 2 motorcycles.
Expensive....German if I recall.
Worked great for me..used on engines.

For wheels. I sit on chair, wheel between my feet,  big bucket of soapy water, fat soft sponge. Bend, spin tire. Wash. Throw pan water to rinse.

I tried it for the first time last Fall on my Nighthawk's engine. It worked well, definitely worth trying. What really blew me away was the S100 engine brightener. Some kind of clear spray that you spray on faded black painted parts and they look glossy and shiny black / new again.

For wheels I like to use the Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish. It's an aerosol. I spray it on a microfiber towel and wipe off the wheel.  I only rarely wash my 2 wheelers with soap and water..I clean them with detail spray after each ride so they never get dirty. It takes me about 30 seconds.

Although...if you're going to get out the hose to clean your wheels, good old car wash soap in a bucket and a soft wheel brush or microfiber mitt would probably work just as well as the S100.
