sunrise looked like a forest fire, & nice folks!!
« on: July 01, 2024, 04:54:58 PM »
It had been a few weeks since I started my LIKE200i - it fired instantly, as usual - and the fuel pump gave me a little 'whine' for about 2 seconds - which it wants to do if I've neglected it for too long.
It was overcast as I left home - 1/2 hr later saw this happening in my mirrors.
Looked like a fire in the distance!

while I was stopped here on the road-side a fellow in a truck stopped to ask if everything was ok.
seems like it's mostly guys in trucks who stop to check on this rider - though have had a couple ladies do the same.

Been a few weeks since I've been out here...the corn has grown quite a bit since my last ride.

54°F this morning!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
