   I've looked through this Forum and looked at lots of You Tube videos and still don't have a definitive answer. I'm now looking for educated guesses. I have a '23 Kymco People S 150 that is stock. It has 600 miles on the odometer. My current top speed on level ground is 60mph (verified by GPS). I want to install 1 1/2 gram lighter Dr. Pulley sliders to get a little better acceleration for city traffic. The question is what impact these sliders will have on my top end? Any and all opinions are welcomed.
Blue '23 People S 150i ABS  Moto Discovery GPS bar, Shad SH33 top case, Iridium spark plug, Black reflective graphics, Battery Tender ring terminal cable, LED tag light.

Lighter weights.....I never cared for the buzzy engine with increased revs at all speeds.
That is all I remember.....so no help on what it did to my top speed. Surely it lowered it?...as well as my MPG's?
After a couple of rides I went a little heavier with some Dr P's.

I've gone lighter with sliders on my S200 (went down 1 gram from stock weight)...kind of remember a slight increase in acceleration? Don't recall any loss of top speed. I did the same, only more extreme, on my Helix. 24 gr rollers were replaced with 21 gram sliders (all 22 and 23 gr were sold out). Acceleration seemed similar, maybe better(?), with no effect on the top speed.

Sometimes I think the acceleration 'gains' are similar to after doing an oil change you swear your car is smoother and quieter!..but is it, really?  8)

I watched my tiny-tach and it confirmed my seat-of-pants/hearing input that I was turning rather more revs at a steady 35mph than with stock weights, when I went lighter.
I didn't want to rev my engine for no reason - (my stock acceleration was fine for my needs) so went heavier with the Dr P's.
I do recall that I dropped more than 500 rpm's when riding at 80 on my Burgman 400. Do not recall - but it may have been 1,000 fewer! It used to do 8,000 at 80mph, stock rollers - dropped to 7,000 at 80mph with Dr. P's.

  I posted in June that my '23 People S 150 topped out at 62mph with a GPS verified 60mph. I then replaced the 13gr rollers with 11.5gr Dr Pulley sliders. After much debate, I just cut my windscreen down 5" for better visibility when riding in the rain. Today I went out for a ride and my factory speedo topped out at 66mph. I have to verify with my GPS, but it appears the lighter sliders and cutting down the windscreen definitely increased my top end.

That’s the kind of real world info that seems to be lacking..although cutting down your windshield introduced another variable in the equation.
