Kymco xtown 300 i ball bearings
« on: July 26, 2024, 07:41:31 AM »
Good morning, I'm just asking my question here because I don't see one anywhere Kymco forum for the Xtown 300 i. So I have a Kymco xtown 300 i 2018 and now I want to replace my clutch bearings with new ones. But since I cannot quickly order these bearings in the Netherlands, my question is can I also use alternative bearings? This concerns these bearings: KYMCO - BEARING BALL (6902 U) (15x28x7)

XTOWN 300I ABS EURO 5

12,42 € (10,44 £)

91002-GGA7-COO

And this type:KYMCO BEARING NEEDLE

(HMK 22 8L) (22x29x18)

XTOWN 300I ABS EURO 5

17,42 € (14,65 £)

91004-KHE7-COO

Don't know what the codes behind the bearings mean?Does anyone know of an online store in the Netherlands or that I might be able to use regular SKS bearings or other brands?Thank you in advance for the information.Greetings, Arie

Welcome here Funcard.

Have you tried this company?  (Ignore the URL suffix, they are based in the Netherlands!)  I've used them and was well pleased with the OEM stock they carry.

I think you are first from the Netherlands! Welcome!

Bearings, ball, roller, needle are an international commodity. Numbers on the bearings have industrial significance. I am sure your industrial suppliers have sharp bearing guys just like USA and every industrial nation. Take the bearings or the bearing numbers to one of the bearing wizards and you can get the exact item for half the Kymco price.

Let us know what transpires.

Yes, correct. I am applying the industrial design/repair philosophy of ball/roller bearing replacement fit OD and ID narrow or wide can be variable based upon what is available.

May be that this is unobtainable....
