Rear axle nut
«

I have an older (2006) Xciting 250. Love it, no Problems, but I need to replace rear tire. I can't get the rear axle nut off. Does it have a retainer or clip I haven't removed? The manual doesn't show one.
Thanks

My 500 doesn't have any retainer or such. But the axle nut was on TIGHT! I have a half inch breaker bar which wouldn't break it loose even with me standing on it! I finally got it loose by JUMPING on the breaker bar! I think I had scooter on the side stand with parking brake locked but I hear the 250 doesn't have a parking brake so maybe tie something tight around the rear brake lever.

Yea, I used a 1/2 in. breaker bar, but I haven't jumped on it yet
Going out now to try again. Thanks.
