oh, boy, as I scrolled down your post I at first only saw the snowy parking lot and thought you were on your scooter!! Glad you're only dreaming of the
scooter and rocking the heated gloves!
My record is a 5°F commute to work a few years ago.
Two concerns....
1) the plastics exploding over the first bump
2) my corneas freezing over
But, all was fine....although I couldn't stop smiling, or was it a grimace!, for half an hour.
