Stig ...and early rising
« on: January 10, 2025, 10:35:59 AM »
Yeah, even when on vacation I  like to get as much day in as possible.
Open the sunroof on the rental, roll down all the windows, turn the A/C up full blast (this is July in Florida, folks).
Head to Duncin D's for coffee...and the go find the shoreline and wait for dawn!
(that's the Gulf of America out there!)

Once in a great while I can persuade an accomplice....(amazing that a female can get ready to go public in less than 2 hrs!!!)

Same place in daylight....

Early rising is a 50 yr habit. (60, if I  include those DI's in basic training)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Gotta admire your fortitude Stig!

Happy to rise at 6 or 7 am, conditioned by my first jobs at ages 15 to 21 where it was a 5 am start, but 40+ years of 6-ish am starts have settled into that sort of time as my routine.  And woe betide me waking the wife before 10:30 at the earliest at the weekend!

I don't see too many 4am starts for me - unless a long ride is on offer...
Regards & ride safe,
Neil
