NSR: your favorite cars

Our first car - a 1969 7-seat VW Kombi, red like this one. After I came home from the games in Vietnam.
Look at all that 'people-space'!
Was a blast to drive!
Yeah OK - the heat would come along in a few. Like riding a scooter in winter....proper gear was important! I never minded the heater - didn't want the auxiliary gas heater.

Later had fun with a green convertible like this one. I drove it with the top down in Massachusetts' winters! Snow goes right over out on I-91 on my drive home to Amherst. With the top down - the heat came roaring out of the dash and footwells.

But, if I could have any car - it'd be that red VW bus!

You?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

best heat I ever had in a vehicle was my VW Vanagon, had a gasoline heater, and Vanagon's still had the tall wondering shift lever/pattern, my favorite VW though, was my brother's '57 VW bus "Rolls Conardly" rolls down one hill can hardly make it up the next, my brother didn't have original engine though, he had a beefed up 1600

I'm kinda liking my Nissan Frontier that I have now
