I did mine while I was doing regular maintenance and it was pretty easy. 
The bodywork is the biggest PITA.

Take off all of your body work off (in one piece) by following the instructions in guide two at the "wotmeworry" link above.  The PS instructions are at the end of the book.... like page 15 IIRC.

I have read this post several times and checked the service manual and see no way to get the body main panels off without removing a bunch of little screws that are freaking impossible to get to.  When I have been in the engine compartment I loosen things up and pry them apart to get access to the valve cover you have to take off.  I am talking about the major side covers that have the "people s" decoration on them.  One of mine could use replacing.
