just picked up a 03 zx 50 for free.

only problem motor is out apart and aparently done for.

i got an extra 4t laying around might put that in but it might be sacreligious

dont know what to do with it how much are motors for the 2ts

Those are very well build engines and parts...... more info plz?

If anything your motor probably just needs a top end.  Yes, it is sacrilege to put a 4T on there!    You can pick up a new top end for relatively cheap depending what you want to go with.  The first thing you need to do is figure out what is up with the motor you have.  Have you checked the compression on it?

heres the thing the motor is out of it and completely apart and in a box

im waiting on a call back from the guy i bought my 150 from he said he had a 2t motor so hopefully i can just throw it in

the guy i got the scoot from said it stopped running and to it to the shop they said it needed a motor and took it all apart i think they didnt know much about 2t but its all good

it sat at his house outside for 2 years its only got like  8000 milees on it body is in good shape but we shall see

the headgaskit could have been leeking  therefore you loose compresion wich caused it to not run
