05 Grand Vista

I have a 2005 Grand Vista & need to know when I should be changing the gear oil please. Thank you & ride safe!

Is that a Grand Vista 250 ?
Where are you located ?

According to a GrandVista 250 owners manual (2009):
Replace gear oil at: 300, 3000 and every +4000 kilometers
In Miles: 186, 1860, 4400, 6800 miles

I have heard that it is a messy job without the proper tools due to the small opening that you are putting the oil in.
Use a Turkey baster or large syringe.  WalMart sells a baster + syringe in the cooking section... pretty cheap.

Did you just get the scooter used ?

I bought the scooter used in Sept & have put almost 8000 miles on it, only had 500 so I better get it changed! I have a scooter friend who also has a GV 250 but a couple of years older who will help me change. Great idea on the baster. Thank you for the info. Do you also have a GV250?

Yes, I also have a Grand Vista 250. 
I got mine new in September also and have put almost 600 miles on it...
I'm learning to ride and have quilting to take up most of my time.
