Glad you are ok.

CycleGear in Little Rock sells tires and mounts/balances them, but you have to take the wheels off the bike and bring the wheels to them.  About $25 for mount/balance.
They are open 7 days per week.

After quite a bit of research, I went with Michelin Gold touring tires.  I compared them to several others including the Pirelli Diablo lineup and kept coming back to the Michelin Gold for price/performance.  They are now on the scoot, but I have yet to take the scoot out on the road so I can't give a good first hand experience.

I had three flats in three months on Michelin tires, never again. I am running a Metzeler now and so far so good.

wow 6,500 miles on the Diablo's! Only got 5,500km on mine, front and rear.  now I'am using Metz 1,000km plus and still looking good.

For me I'll go with the Pirelli GTS for its price but can't find a store that sells them here anymore.

The only tires that i got 10,000km were the stock maxxis

Michelin tires -Gold standard - gave the best mileage so far. Here in Central Texas it's hot roads that eat tires and the Michelins had good traction and good mileage. Now I have Bridgestone hoop on the rear of my -07. I like the way it rides, don't know how long it will last as I am selling the '07; I have an '09.

My '09 has Kenda on front and rear. They seem to ride ok, and handle well. Still getting used to the difference in '09 handling.
