HELP: Sting 50 2T vs Agility 50 4t?
« on: March 23, 2011, 06:42:29 PM »
Hello all,

New to the community...  Just wanted some guidance in making this choice.  I'm about to buy one of these scooters to use on campus while I'm at school.  I was wondering which one you guys think would be the better choice?  I've read the 2-strokes have a little more power but aren't as good on gas.  I have some uphill areas to ride on while on campus, so which one do you think would be a better choice?

Also, out of curiosity, is the Sting able to be de-restricted as well?  And if you de-restrict either of these scooters does is hurt the life of the engine?

Thanks!

If you are just going to be out and about on campus, you could get away with a 4T, but your top end may be limited to about 35-40mph.  With a 2T you have more power at the wheel.  Both can be de-restricted.  Top end on the 2T can be into the upper 60s... top on the 4T might be in the upper 40s.  The 2Ts are much easier to get more power out of.  Any time you do something to the engine can lower the potential lifespan.
