hey members! been lurking awhile and found lots of good advice on here..i have a dilemma with my 07' agility 50 with 8000 miles..since owning from brand new i've had the oil/servicing done as required however now i am having a list of problems and dont know if i am getting jerked around by the shop or what..#1 i brought in a few months ago because the electric start would not work-shop told me i needed a new stater(sp?) as well as cdi and i willingly paid for it to fix the problem #2last week for a new lightbulb/servicing/and i heard a small whining coming from the engine, picked it up when it was ready and mechanic said nothing wrong with the engine and noise was normal, so i left and the scooter died on the way home and i could tell the engine was not happy while riding, so brought it back immediately and left at the shop... mechanic called and said i needed a new engine due to the piston ring being so jammed he could not get it out, i said to wait while i thought over it for a few days and the next day he called saying he was able to get the piston out and now all i needed was a replacement for the damaged one..fine i went ahead and paid for it.. picked it up yesterday and rode home fine, still had a whine that the mechanic said was normal etc., well 1 day later the scooter engine is not happy, died earlier today, pushed it home, and when i start up it will run with the whine, and a small amount of white smoke comes out of the exhaust..HELP! I dont know if it is just a replacement belt needed or something big that the shop is trying to get as much out of me as possible,,any hints?
