« on: May 10, 2011, 08:56:19 PM »
Hey, ive got an agility 08, witch has driven little past 8000km, and my exhaust looks like if its about to die of rust...

Now ive been told that the original exhaust is quite fast to begin rusting, but do any of you guys know if these is as fast to begin rusting as the originals:

it depends on how you store your scoot. if inside they well last longer. I got over 18000 km on mine.
I took some real good hot grill paint and gave it a good rattle can spray. it saved me I thing.just make sure you clean muffler good befor sprary. and do a few times.

Ive tried 3 differnt paints now and all burn off pretty quick when riding. Meant to be high temp paint for exausts but they still flake off and my exaust rusts. Thnking of going for a sports exaust next to improve the looks, and sounds, but will wait till my standard exaust give up and blows put. Seems pretty solid still so got good life left in it yet. If I could get decent paint that stayed on I would keep it standard.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

If you have 4 stroke scoot, the exhaust will probably outlive the scoot or your willingness to keep it.
You will not achieve anything with a new exhaust.
Paint the OEM can once per year and forget about it (it is true - every paint will burn/flake off).
