I have considered this bike for an up grade from my super 9 to the 150.  I am a little concerned about the price.  Most of the major manufactures are badging chinese made bikes to compete with the cheaper bikes.  Is this bike made in china?  I have done some reasearch and this bike seems to suffer some of the same problems as the cheap bikes.  leaking oil, short belt life, questionable reliability.  The specs i have found only rate the engine at 8 hp.  Not really much of an increase over the super 9. I guess i will just wait and see how many of these show up on the used market. and no the super 9 is not for sale.

Local Dealer had four super 8 150 that just came in. I was told the they are  manufacture at the same plant in China that the Agility 125 are. They have sold one for over the list price. Will have to see how good they are.

I bought two super 8 150 Kymco scooters two weeks ago. I have owned yamaha zuma scooters before this purchase. I really like the power of these scoots. They are not fully broken in yet but at 50 mph they still accelerate pretty hard. I think they will go around 65 mph after break in. They look real good too. I got the blue and yellow one and the black and red. Start up easy idle smoothe and have really good pick up. I rode the agility 125 and the super 8 150 is much more comfortable to ride. For the extra three hundred dollars it seems to be a nice bike. I have 95 miles on them and will change the oil soon and see how fast they will go.

Your dealer is right, made in China along with the Agility models.

The Super 8 is a great scooter for an awesome price.  Kymco really has a winner with this model.  It handles like a sport bike turns and rides great.  Even without being broken in they accelerate to 60 very quickly.  I love the fact for only $300 more than and Agility 125 you get a full set of color matched body work.  Bigger Wheels and tires and a great design.
