GV Water Proof Cover and drink holder
« on: May 02, 2010, 01:54:13 PM »
Walmart sells motorcycle covers in the automotive department that fits the gv perfectly and it is less than $40.00. I attached a large plasic cup to my front helmet holder with a stainless steel hose clamp. I put a 16 ounce bottle of ice water in it for a drinking when it is hot outside.

There is an Ebay site that I bought mine from for .50 cents. +$8.00 shipping from Hong Kong. I posted the link about 8 months ago. It is still as good as the day I bought it. I cover the scoot every nite, and it sits in a shed. (mostly a nylon dust cover) but I'm happy w/ it.

I found the cover at Wmart today in the mark down bin, from $60 to $30-it was for a full size touring bike. It fits my GV with Givi touring windscreen and trunk perfectly-maybe a teeny bit too large, but there is no part of my scoot exposed to the weather-and it has a pair of vents to allow breathing as well. Thanks for the headsup!

I got a drink holder from my dealer, which is an insulated holder for a water bottle. It has a strap to hook it onto the front hook. It is made by ScootR Logic. It is available online, at the following places:

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=scootr+logic&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=9224619561862997994&sa=X&ei=lljmTYC2L4nSsAPPqdCMBw&ved=0CFIQ8gIwBg

Also there is a backpack by the same company that you can attach to the front hook, and has removable straps. The water bottle holder attaches to the backpack. Makes for extra storage!
