Malossi Kelvar Belt for KYMCO Super 8

I just bought a Kevlar belt for  my KYMCO Super 8, what are the thing do I need to change/replace in my KYMCO Super 8 CVT in order to used it. Thanks! ???

To replace the belt on your super 8, you need to take the fixed variator plate off, pull the clutch plates apart (outer towards you) you can then replace the belt. Refit the outer variator, making sure the outer goes right upto the drive boss! screw on the nut and torque to 35-40 Nm. Put back the CVT/ clutch cover, job done!
     There are lots of videos on youtube, good to watch.

If you haven't figured it out yet, you need a clutch holder tool or an impact wrench to do this job.
Let us know how the belt fits.

Hey jprestonian,

would that be because they suck and you never want another kevlar one, or because they never wear out?

I feel like it's about time for me to replace my original belt (5600 miles) and I was thinking Kevlar...
