Waxing

I noticed the blue on my s9 is blue all the way through. There is a scratch on the yellow plastic by the seat and it looks like its painted. I was wondering if waxing plastic would protect it from fading? Does anybody wax their scooters?

I like carnuba wax. It only takes a few minutes to put a good protective shine on a scooter. I use the wax on painted parts, smoothe plastic, glass, and chrome. Don't get it onto flat black paint or rough plastic.
