Just read a review online and a few people are saying the Avons are lethal in the wetso that kind of rules them out for me.

Bridgestone ML50 seem to get a good rating for wet and dry riding too

Getting a sore head now, too mant ytyres, too many reviews :-\ Time for bed,i'll sleep  on it, going to be dreaming of tyres tho  ;D

Mmm- doughnuts....
Members on here that use them like them in the wet. It is good to read reviews, but, if you read enough of them you will get confused, everyone has a different opinion. In the end, you will choose the one you think is best. It all comes down to trial and error.

I would go for the ML50's.

Usually there's always someone who's dissapointed with any reviewed tyre, but I've only read good things about the ML50, except that they wear quite fast because they are soft and sticky and have a lot of grooves, but that soft stickyness is just exactly why I will buy them some day for replacing my SM100's (which are also quite good).

I'd rather spend some money than my skin  ;D

Yes Mono, it seems ML50's are pretty good from reading thro reviews. I prefer the look of the tread on them too so I am ordering a set this morning.

Hope they arrive for fri and I can get them fitted this weekend totry them out. I have zero confidence in my stock tyres now on a wet road and have been slowing way down to like 10mph on bends. Front tyre slipped yesterday again, twice, but luckily I saved it both times. Got a fright, cant ride like that, no fun, so hope once I fit he Bridgestones I feel a big improvement.

Will post up how they feel once I get them fitted in case anyone want info on them. Thanks for everyones input.

Just remember, when you get your new tyres on, take it easy on them, they can be slippery until you wear them in. Some say 40-50kms, some say 100kms, my Suzuki owner's manual say 160kms. I think with the size of the scoot tyres it would be more like the 50kms.

They were more expensive, almost £100,($160us), delivered for the pair, so hope im happy with them cos if im not I need to put up with them at those prices ;D
