Auxiliary lighting?

I've seen plenty of posts on using different bulbs, but I'm looking to add some extra lighting to help out with the pitiful headlight on my '09 agility 125. I'm not too concerned with looks. Something cheap and easy. The local auto store has a broad selection of these. Would anything like this work without putting a huge strain on the electrical system? Anyone else use something similar?
Thanks, Chris.

I just stuffed in an cheapo $5 H4 55/60W bulb instead of the stock HS1 35/35W bulb.
Did screw up the beam pattern a bit, but the increase in light output was worth it.
Probably even better with a 'brand name' bulb.

Adding a 55w light like that is going to fry your electrical system. Adding 20w by going to a 55w bulb would be bettter - but adding on little fog lights that can be switched off when not needed (or when your battery is low) would be much better still. These cost more initially but are more shock resistant, last longer, won't fry your electrical system, and would be lots brighter. It's 2 10watt led's putting out 800 lumens each should triple your light for only 20watts - and they are 2" by 2". 800 lumens is equivilant to a 60watt incandescant bulb (or about 45 watt halogen).
