New roller weights and belt..

I put the 13g dr pulleys in mine and it seemed to gain all the way through. It takes off faster and there is a normal place where i check the bikes performance and i know what it did before the swap. My speedo is 4 off so when it says 70 i think im running about 66. Well this place i never get over 69 or 70 and u can feel the cdi restrictor slightly cutting the power. Well now on the same hill im hitting 78 to 80 mph. No i dont feel the restrictor eather. Not a tremendous diff but it did make a diff in mine.

I need to change my belt but i went ahead and got the 13g dr pulleys and i gained take off and top speed. You know how there is certain places you know exactly what your scoot will do? Well on the one i have i usually ran 68 to 70 and i could feel the cdi rev limiter. No i can hit 75 to 80 mph. Now i hope these things last though. I put a tiny bit of graphite lube in the variator slider track. My tended to perform better the next day after the swap. I just wander if they breqak in or something? My issue now is performance loss due to belt being a little streched.

What roller weights???  13gr?  What is the vendor???  Scooterworks is showing only 14gr for the agility 125....  And those are 18 x 14...

When looking to replace the rollers what exactly do I need to look for? 

Or correct this noob and tell me where this information already is and I will go read.

18x14 is all you need to know, and decide on the weight yourself.
Kymco makes 12,4, 13, 14 and probably a few more weights for 18x14 size.

With that being said, what might have been the stock weights?  I read some where on this forum that stock was 13.5 is that confirmable for the Agility 125??

Mine were 14g.
It's possible that there's different weights in there for different markets.

I'm not very happy with normal 13g rollers, unless you keep the speed up to about 45-50mph, everything above that and
the engine screams and the fuel economy went out the window.

I'd try the 13g pulleys next, and that's probably the best weight.

3,5l at a constant 52-53mph now, it was up to about 3,0-3,1 before, and that's
a big difference in range when out of town with the 5l tank.

I actually had to carry extra fuel with me on a few rides that I didn't need before
(200-250km rides).

Town average went from 3,1-3,2 to 3,4 - not that big of a difference in numbers, but considering
a fill-up lasted 3 days before, and lasts 2 days now, it's again, a big difference in range and convenience.

I've put 17.000km on the bike since last spring, and that's a nice difference in fuel cost too.

I guess it's not that big of a difference up to about 40mph where the revs are almost the same
(slightly higher), but they rise rapidly after that, and with Dr Pulley sliders they'd remain lower
up to the top speed, and the difference in fuel economy would be maybe 0,1-0,2l/100km, and
not up to 0,5l..

l is liters, km is kilometers, you should be able to figure it out from there..

If you copy pasted the entire line in google, you would have your answer sooner.. and
a chart for converting to MPG.

Maybe jets are worn out after 20.000 km, or there is increased resistance of worn out bearings in wheels, or carb float does not function properly or...

The change in fuel consumption was apparent from the first tank after the roller change.
The jets were checked and cleaned (and the rest of the carb) twice in 20.000km, and the float is as new.

Wheel bearings are a possibility, but only on the rear wheel, because front one was already checked once looking
for the source of some noise (it was the speedo cable).

It's like with some cars that can achieve it's top speed in 4th and 5th gear.. it will use more fuel doing it in 4th because
of more revs, NO exceptions, and that's what we have here. More revs at any given speed.

It's different with Dr Pulley weights because they change the overall gearing in 2 ways, depending on the speed,
not just 1, like the normal weights, which raise or lower the revs, and can't do both.
