My 2003 Zx 50 Super Fever with 10,000 miles has major drive train problems.  The engine runs, but the bike will not move and it makes grinding/loose parts noise in the lower end around crankshaft.  I thought it might be the CVT/Clutch/rear reduction gears. Removed variator looks fine, belt is fine, Clutch and rear reduction gears look fine. Even replaced clutch with new one no help. Saturday I ran the engine with just the variator on the spline and the engine is making grinding loose part noise in lower end around crankshaft as far as I can tell. I'm beginning to think that to fix this problem I will have to pull engine and look at crankshaft  and associated parts. I beginning to thing that this repair is above my mechanical ability. Wonder if I should scrap the bike or how difficult of a repair is this. I really like the bike and I'm sure to have this repair done at Kymco shop would be more than the bike is worth. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated by anyone has done this repair or pulled the engine.
