Newbie saying hello
« on: November 15, 2011, 01:25:45 AM »
Hi all, someone from another scoot forum turned me onto this site, so thought I'd say hello and fill you all in on me. I live in North NJ and have been looking for a scooter for many months now, I came across this Kymco s200 from a co-worker that was moving up in size, the 200 is a 2009 model with 700 miles on the clock. It's in mint condition and even though it's red I had to jump on it as the price was right at $1,600.

I'll try and reg. her this week than apply for my MC lic endorsement. I plan on using her for my 6 mile commute to work (12 ml round trip) as a way of saving some time on parking and cost of gas for my car. If there are any tips or pointers you care to share please do.

Thanks to all and to the creator of this site!

Welcome to the forum, I too have a scoot for the commute to work, mine is 16km., or 10 miles.
Check out the 200 section, there will likely be a lot of info there for you.
