Advice sought for when changing to aftermarket exhaust
« on: January 13, 2012, 03:25:38 PM »
Hello All
I have swapped out the stock muffler for a Tecnigas Silent Sport and am wondering what procedure I should follow now that the emissions control is no longer attached to the exhaust.
I ride a 2011 Like 50 2t and have disconnected the hose which ran from the stock muffler to what I believe is the secondary air filter. Please help if you can.
I am uncertain if this unit just pulled fresh air into the exhaust system (rendering it moot at this point).

From the guru at Moped Hospital "We usually just take the pump unit off. Once you take the stock exhaust off it does nothing"
And there ya go.
