Pirelli Diablo 130x70x12

Hey all! I just swapped my Avon Vypre stryke for the Diablo's. Tough to install as they are SUPER stiff. There is a red dot that indicates the light spot in the tire. This dot is set next to the valve stem (wheels heavy spot). Tires are pumped to 41psi (like that). First ride was too stiff. You feel everything on the road. I ran the Avons for a year so I tuned my forks to them. Added 8mm spacers to the factory springs, and went to straight 40w fork oil. The diablo's are too stiff for that set up soooo Re-tune. Took out the spacers, and went to 15w fork oil. Feels much better. I get a little bounce in the bars at 60ish so I will try running a few (2-3psi) less in the front. BUT it feels like a different scoot. Kinda like running under inflated for months then adding air. They are about 3mm smaller than the Avons in all aspects so fitting the rear was easier. I have about 10 miles on them so too soon to tell overall thoughts but they grip GREAT. Favorite corners went up about 5mph. The avons were great scoot tires, and I'm sure all their Vypre tires are an upgrade from stock. but they do not really last for an aggressive driver. 11,500 miles, and they were both pretty thin. I have 130x70x12 front and rear. Ps  Bike Bandit has the BEST price @$47.00 $9.00 shipping. First impression is if you want a soft cozy ride look elsewhere, but if you like scraping your bottom plastics these are for you.

Not sure on that size but I put them on my DT300i last fall. They are radial so at slow speed they pick out every ripple in the road but running  in the 60 to 80 mile an hour range are great.

I burst at your cruising range so they do feel "hard" I have been lowering pressure. and like them better at 36psi front, and 38 rear. 200 miles, and they are starting to scuff in.
