I believe you are living in an organized society. Do you have some associations that protect rights of the customers?

As strange as it may sound, this would be quite unheard of in my country. They would have tax inspection (your equivalent is IRS), several associations, newspapers, Internet portals and TV shows breathing behind their neck...

I have a friend who's scooter sat in a shop over a year waiting for "Warranty repair".
The issue is... If you make 7-10 grand a day a 1000.00 scooter is way in the back of your thoughts. Taking productive time to waste fighting with a scooter shop is way down on the to do list. Even taking the time to go get it, and have another dealer fix it is really not what you want to be doing.
That said... Email Kymco Global twice a day. Copy paste your complaint every morning, and every evening. A few seconds a day may get the point across.
Back to the real point... The parts will take between 10-20 days to arrive anywhere in the world. The delay sounds dealer specific. Angies list is a good place to vent.

Yes it was under warranty, what the garage are saying, is because the engine casing needed replacing companies dont allow for this only making casings for the production line, no spares so when you need one it has to be manufactured. so beware!

Well, this is interesting. Faulty engine casing, the same thing that happened to my scooter under warranty: http://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?topic=554.msg7479#msg7479

This does not happen even to the crappiest of "Chinese" or Italian scooters.

I do not know where you are from, I think you might be from Australia because your scooter is called People 150 elsewhere.
It took maybe two weeks for new engine casing to arrive from Taiwan to Croatia.

I would say that your local importer is an idiot that should be out of this business, if he alread isn't.

What you were told is a lie. Axy's thread is the same situation. They did take some time to fix his but they did get it right. You can order the cases your self, and hand them to another shop for install. Certainly let Kym Glob. know of this "ploy"
