Repair manual
« on: April 30, 2012, 01:12:01 PM »
Does anyone have or know where I can down load a repair shop manual for the X500? Not the service manual that comes with the bike, the shop repair manual.  :-*

It's in the thread here for manuals.  I don't remember quite which one but I think it had a number of Kymco models in the title then you just have to look at the page it takes you to and find the 500.  I had to download an unzipping prog called rar frog in order to download manual.  It's been good for me and taken me through a number of involved repairs/upgrades.

On your system select "Start", then "My Documents", then go into the "Downloads" folder.  If it is n longer there, then download it an look for it right away (your download folder may be set to clean itself out occasionally).  When you download it - you may be able to see it on the bottom left of your browser screen and open it there.

Here's the one I got -- thanks to Zombie's link.  http://www.timtaylor.net/Scooter/Manuals.htm  At the bottom of the page is a link to get Free RAR Extract Frog which you'll need in order to extract the file once downloaded so get it first.

Then click on the Xciting 250/500 manual and download it -- then extract it.  It's a nice Adobe manual for our carburated version.
