10% grade
« on: June 17, 2012, 03:07:55 AM »
I have a couple of options getting to and from work, one involves a short (1/4=1/3 mile) ride up a 10% grade (sign posted) the other i a 1 mile or more ride up a more normal incline, is one route better for my scoots eng/trans then the other or it just doesn't matter?

Thanks in advance.

Agreed. To find the ratio just compare the amount of throttle needed for both. Up hill is tougher on the entire drive line.

Forgot I posted this, thanks I figured the steep hill would be best to stay away from.
