Howdy guys and gals. What performance CDI or plug wire do you use?

I am trying to extract every ounce of power from this fantastic engine and my project is almost complete. I bought the 300cc kit with the new cam, a turbokit variator and Dr Pulley clutch, MRP Racing exhaust and a 32mm CVK careburator. I need to upgrade the ignition but I have not found any parts for this particular scooter. It already has the Iridium spark plug. Any ideas?

Sorry I can't help you with your question, but can I ask you about the 300cc kit. What else is reqd to upgrade to this kit? I would have thought it is just a bigger cylinder and piston and therefore nothing else is needed and that the carb would handle the extra load. Cheers and good luck. What about the OEM ignition system of other Kymco 300cc?... DT, Xciting, etc.

Measure the resistance of your OEM coil, and check these bad boys out...

With the 300cc kit you need more fuel to make more HP and the stock carb will not feed it enough. I chose to go with the exhaust and the cam for better flow and more HP.
