I REALLY like the S250... its a good quality scooter at a better than average price. The performance is really good, acceleration is pretty surprising for a scooter. I mainly got mine (had the agility 125) so that I could ride 2-up easier, and it works with 2-up very well. As axy has stated, it only has storage under the seat and it wasnt deep enough to store my full face helmet. It is plenty large to fit a jacket, gloves, and several other items (I fit a 2 liter drink and a few other things on top of my jacket in there) but it just isnt deep (tall) enough to fit the helmet. I wouldnt let that deter you though... you can always get external storage. From what I've seen, most built in storage is lacking in at least on eof the three dimensions to fit a FF helmet. I just got the GIVI E55 to store two full face helmets AND to fit groceries and a LOT of other items and it looks great! I took a ton of pics of the topcase mounted to my scoot here: http://www.scootforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=145&t=689
One thing I increasingly dislike is the suspension, that is too soft at the rear end, easily hits bottom point and then bounces off once or even twice, even at the hardest setting. Some people say that it is "too hard" and I disagree, on the contrary, it is too soft.
It behaves worse than Agility 125 on a bumpy road and much worse than all other scooters I ever drove including my ex. Beverly 200.
If you check the service manual, they consider a person to be equal to 55 kg, and two persons equal to 110 kg.
The problem is that I alone have 103 kg at the moment and my gf has 85 kg, so we are almost four Taiwanese.
(currently both on a diet and losing weight, if I may add).
This has a great impact on how the scooter behaves, especially when riding two up. This is something to be seriously considered by all who plan to buy S250 and I did not notice that people talk about this on the forum... or maybe I am the only riding two up often.
