Torque Value for Oil Drain Plug and Oil Screen Bolt
« on: August 15, 2012, 09:09:10 PM »
I'm changing my oil. The manual says about 1.0 kg-m for both of those bolts, which translates to about 7 ft-lbs. That doesn't seem like much. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

This should help.  It is from DINK (Yager) 200i/125 service manual.  I'm sorry about the size but attaching is a little tight.  You should be able to make it bigger.  (Engine oil & gear oil drain plugs are 18 ft lbs)

That sounds more like it. Thanks.
